The Zebra Danio is a hardy, energetic freshwater fish recognized by its distinctive horizontal blue-and-silver stripes. Active, peaceful, and adaptable, it's an excellent schooling fish for beginner and established community aquariums.

Zebra Danios appreciate planted aquariums with plenty of open swimming space. Keep them in groups of at least 6 to encourage natural schooling behavior and reduce the likelihood of fin-nipping.
Feed a varied diet of quality flakes or small pellets supplemented with frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms.
