At Felipe's Fish Store, we take great care in preparing and shipping our fish to ensure they arrive safely and in healthy condition. Because we ship live aquatic animals, special procedures and policies apply to every order.

By placing an order with Felipe's Fish Store, you agree to the shipping policies outlined below.

SHIPPING DAYS

To protect the health of the fish and reduce the risk of delays, we ship live fish on the following days:

• Monday
• Tuesday
• Wednesday

Orders placed later in the week may ship the following Monday to avoid fish being delayed in transit over the weekend.

Felipe's Fish Store reserves the right to delay shipment if weather conditions, carrier delays, or other factors could jeopardize the safe arrival of the fish.

PROCESSING TIME

Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days.

Processing time includes preparing livestock, packing materials, and ensuring fish are healthy and ready for shipment.

During busy periods or extreme weather conditions, processing times may be slightly extended to ensure the safety of the livestock.

PACKAGING

All fish are professionally packed to maximize survival during transit. Packaging may include:

• Insulated shipping boxes
• Oxygen-filled fish bags
• Temperature protection (heat packs or cold packs when necessary)
• Protective packing materials

Our goal is to maintain stable conditions during shipping to give every fish the best possible chance of arriving safely.

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE

Felipe's Fish Store offers a Live Arrival Guarantee when shipments are delivered on the first delivery attempt.

Customers must be available to receive the package when it arrives.

If a fish arrives dead on arrival (DOA), customers must follow the instructions listed in our Return & Refund Policy, including contacting us within the required timeframe and providing photo documentation.

Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.

SHIPPING CARRIER DELAYS

While we take every precaution when preparing shipments, we cannot control carrier operations once a package leaves our facility.

Felipe's Fish Store is not responsible for losses caused by:

• Carrier delays
• Weather-related delays
• Delivery interruptions
• Mechanical or logistical issues within the carrier network

However, we will always work with customers to find reasonable solutions when possible.

INCORRECT SHIPPING INFORMATION

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

Felipe's Fish Store is not responsible for issues caused by:

• Incorrect addresses
• Incomplete shipping information
• Packages returned due to address errors

If a package is returned due to incorrect information, customers may be responsible for additional shipping costs.

MISSED DELIVERIES

Customers must ensure someone is available to receive the package upon delivery.

Felipe's Fish Store is not responsible for livestock losses caused by:

• Missed delivery attempts
• Packages left outside for extended periods
• Failure to retrieve packages promptly after delivery

We strongly recommend monitoring tracking information closely once a shipment is on its way.

WEATHER AND SHIPPING SAFETY

The safety of the fish is our highest priority.

If extreme weather conditions are present in the shipping route or destination, Felipe's Fish Store may delay shipment until conditions improve.

This decision is made solely to protect the health of the livestock.

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

Certain species of fish may be restricted in some states or regions due to local regulations.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any fish they purchase are legal to own in their location.

Felipe's Fish Store is not responsible for confiscation or issues resulting from local restrictions.

ORDER TRACKING

Once an order ships, customers will receive a tracking number via email.

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and preparing to receive their delivery.
