The Silver Flying Fox is an active freshwater fish known for its streamlined body, distinctive horizontal stripe, and natural grazing behavior. Its energetic personality and constant movement make it an interesting addition to larger planted and community aquariums.

Silver Flying Foxes spend much of their time exploring the aquarium and grazing across rocks, driftwood, plants, and other surfaces for algae and biofilm. Their natural grazing should be supplemented with a varied diet of quality flakes or pellets, algae-based foods, vegetable matter, and occasional protein-rich foods.

Important: Flying Foxes can become more territorial as they mature, particularly toward similarly shaped fish. Provide adequate swimming space and hiding areas and select tankmates appropriately.
