The Rainbow Shark is a striking freshwater fish featuring a dark body contrasted by vivid red-orange fins. Active and bold, it makes an impressive addition to larger freshwater aquariums but can become territorial as it matures.

Provide plenty of swimming room along with caves, driftwood, plants, and rockwork to establish territories and break up lines of sight. Avoid housing adults with other Rainbow Sharks, Red Tail Sharks, or similar territorial bottom dwellers.
Feed a varied diet of quality sinking foods, algae-based foods, vegetables, and occasional frozen or live foods.
