The Orange Venezuelan Cory is a striking freshwater Cory known for its warm orange-to-copper coloration contrasted by a darker, iridescent blue-green area across the back. It combines the peaceful, social personality Corydoras are loved for with coloration that stands out beautifully in planted and community aquariums.

Recommended Setup: Provide a mature, well-filtered aquarium with plenty of usable bottom area. Fine sand or another smooth substrate is recommended for comfortable natural foraging, along with live plants, driftwood, rocks, shaded areas, and open substrate.
Orange Venezuelan Corys are social fish and should be kept with others of their kind. We recommend a group of at least 6 to encourage confident, natural social and foraging behavior.
Feed a varied diet consisting of quality sinking pellets or wafers supplemented with appropriately sized frozen or live foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia.
Orange Venezuelan Corys should not be treated solely as aquarium cleanup fish. Although they actively forage along the bottom, they require intentional feeding and a nutritionally complete diet of their own.
Tankmates: Excellent for peaceful freshwater community aquariums alongside compatible tetras, rasboras, peaceful dwarf cichlids, other Corydoras, and similarly sized non-aggressive species.
