The Leopard Angelfish is a striking freshwater angelfish variety known for its intricate spotted and marbled patterning, contrasting dark markings, and elegant flowing fins. Each individual develops a unique combination of spots and patterns, giving Leopard Angelfish a distinctive appearance that stands out beautifully in planted and community aquariums.

Their tall, graceful body shape and unique markings make them an excellent centerpiece fish. Leopard Angelfish are generally peaceful but may become territorial as they mature, particularly when forming pairs or breeding.

Recommended Setup: A well-filtered freshwater aquarium with plenty of vertical swimming space, plants, driftwood, and open areas for swimming. Feed a varied diet of quality flakes or pellets supplemented with frozen and appropriately sized protein-rich foods.

Tankmates: Leopard Angelfish can be kept with many peaceful community fish of appropriate size. Avoid persistent fin-nipping species and extremely small fish that may eventually be viewed as prey.
