The Kyathit Danio is a beautiful, active freshwater schooling fish native to Myanmar. Its shimmering body features a combination of dark spots or broken horizontal markings contrasted by warm orange coloration in the fins, creating an eye-catching display when kept in a group. FishBase confirms the species is native to tributaries of the upper Ayeyarwady region in Myanmar.
