The Giant Danio is a large, energetic schooling fish featuring iridescent blue and gold markings and an incredibly active swimming style. Hardy and fast-moving, it's an excellent choice for larger freshwater aquariums with plenty of open swimming space.

Giant Danios need a long aquarium with strong filtration, good oxygenation, and plenty of open swimming room. Keep them in groups of at least 6 and use a secure lid—they are powerful swimmers and excellent jumpers.

Feed quality flakes or pellets supplemented with frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworms, and other appropriately sized foods.

Please Note: Giant Danios are extremely active and are best paired with similarly robust community fish rather than slow-moving or long-finned species.
