Calico Bushynose Pleco

The Calico Bushynose Pleco, also known as the Calico Bristlenose Pleco, is a colorful and peaceful freshwater catfish featuring a unique mix of orange, reddish-brown, and dark mottled markings. Each fish develops its own individual pattern, making the Calico Bushynose a standout addition to planted and community aquariums.

These plecos spend much of their time grazing on algae and biofilm across aquarium glass, driftwood, rocks, and other surfaces. Their relatively compact adult size makes them a much more manageable alternative to larger pleco species while still providing the classic appearance and behavior pleco keepers enjoy.
