Assorted Male Endlers

Scientific Name: Poecilia wingei

Assorted Male Endlers are small, highly active livebearers prized for their brilliant coloration and constantly changing patterns. Males can display vivid combinations of orange, red, green, yellow, blue, black, and metallic markings, with each assortment offering a unique mix of colors and patterns. Their tiny size and energetic personality make them an excellent choice for planted aquariums and peaceful communities of similarly sized fish.

This product contains males only, allowing aquarists to enjoy the vibrant coloration and activity of Endlers without producing fry from a mixed-sex group. Male Endlers remain considerably smaller and more colorful than females and are peaceful toward one another. Unlike standard guppies, true Endler's Livebearers are classified as Poecilia wingei. The two species can hybridize and produce fertile offspring, so they should be kept separately when maintaining true Endler genetics is important.

Recommended Setup: A mature, well-filtered aquarium with stable water conditions, moderate to hard water, live plants, floating plants or other areas of cover, and open swimming space. Endlers thrive in harder, alkaline water and benefit from a varied diet of quality flakes or micro pellets along with small frozen or live foods such as baby brine shrimp and daphnia. Their diet should also include some vegetable matter. Choose peaceful tank mates small enough not to view these tiny fish as prey.
