Amano Shrimp are one of the most effective and popular freshwater algae eaters available for planted and community aquariums. Known for constantly grazing on algae, leftover food, and organic debris, these hardworking shrimp are an excellent addition to a clean, balanced aquarium.

Their peaceful temperament makes them well suited for community tanks with other non-aggressive species. Amano Shrimp are especially popular in planted aquariums, where they spend much of the day exploring plants, driftwood, rocks, and other surfaces for food.
